Methodology

Edge Updates report when the reference strategy's algorithmic entry or exit conditions are met. Published entry and exit prices and returns are reference-strategy figures, not confirmations of executed trades or actual account returns.

The record is calculated from the strategy's Edge Update entry and exit conditions.

  • Each outcome is derived from its entry and exit reference prices.
  • Outcome returns apply a fixed modeled fee assumption of 0.10% on entry and 0.10% on exit.
  • All published outcomes include this fee assumption. The first two Discord announcements (#1 and #2) show the values before this fee model was applied.
  • Closed outcomes with displayed, fee-adjusted net returns of +3.00% or higher or −3.00% or lower are summarized at most once per day after the 24-hour Public Access delay and publication in the public record.
  • An outcome counts as positive when its full-precision, fee-adjusted pnl_pct is greater than 0 before rounding. Zero-return outcomes are tracked separately from positive and negative outcomes.
  • The Published Outcome Index starts at 100 and compounds outcomes in chronological order.
  • Monthly Outcome Return compounds outcome returns by exit month.
  • Outcomes with missing required values are excluded rather than treated as zero.

Outcomes are calculated from the strategy's entry and exit reference prices, applying the fixed modeled fee assumption above. They do not represent individual user results or actual account execution.

Backtest Historical Stability Analysis

10 chronological splits from 35% to 80% in 5-point steps

The fixed final configuration is evaluated at 10 chronological split points. The earlier-period share increases from 35% to 80% in 5-point steps, while the remaining 65% to 20% is reported as the later-period share. The same final configuration is applied to every split. These historical periods were included in the research used to select the final configuration, so the results are not independent validation on previously unseen data. The windows overlap and are not 10 independent tests.

Review the historical backtest table for each split and its later-period result across all 10 chronological evaluation periods.
